Tarlina (Yernikhova) Yekaterina Nikolaevna was born on August 25, 1938. Yekaterina Nikolaevna worked as a fur farmer in the Kazym State Farm. Later she worked as a nurse in the Kazym Hospital. She was an active participant in various seminars on decorative and applied art. She held the title of Master of Russia in decorative and applied arts of the Khanty people. Yekaterina Nikolaevna was well aware of the customs and traditions of her people. She knew many songs and fairy tales.
