Biography
Alexey Mikhaylovich was born in the Yuilsk settlement, Beryozovsky District, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous-Okrug – Yugra, Tyumen Oblast. He graduated from a four-year school in the village of Yuilsk and continued his education in the Kazym seven-year school. Then Alexey Mikhaylovich studied at the Khanty-Mansiysk Pedagogical College and at the Leningrad State Pedagogical Institute named after A. I. Herzen at the Faculty of Philology. Alexey Mikhailovich taught Russian and Khanty languages, literature in the pedagogical school. He was an employee of the district newspapers "Leninskaya Pravda", "Lenin Pant Khuvat", the responsible editor of the district radio broadcasting. A. M. Sengepov is a member of the Union of Journalists of the Russian Federation. He was awarded the title "Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation". Alexey Mikhaylovich is the author of textbooks "The Khanty language" for the second and third grades, "The Khanty language" for teacher training schools, numerous short stories and poems that were published in school textbooks in the Khanty language.
