Ulyana Nikolaevna was born in the Numto settlement, Beloyarsky District, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug of Tyumen Oblast. She studied at the Kazym boarding school. Ulyana Nikolaevna graduated from the Khanty-Mansiysk National Pedagogical College. She worked as a teacher at the School of Arts for the Gifted Children of the North. Ulyana Nikolaevna is a singer of songs and legends. She knows and tells fairy tales of the Kazym Khanty, performs personal songs. Ulyana Nikolaevna is the author of songs in the Khanty language.
