Zoya Dmitrievna was born in the Pomut settlement, Beryozovsky District, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug of Tyumen Oblast. She studied at the Kazym school. In 1971, Zoya Dmitrievna graduated from the Khanty-Mansiysk Pedagogical College. She worked as a teacher in the Yuilsk elementary school, then in the Kazym eight-year school. Zoya Dmitrievna worked as a teacher in a boarding school of the secondary educational school of the Kazym settlement. She performes personal songs of Kazym Khanty.
