Andrey Grigoryevich was born in the camp near the Osetnye settlement, Beloyarsky District, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug of Tyumen Oblast. He studied at the Kazym school. Andrey Grigoryevich served in the army. He had a good high-pitched voice, and was a singing voice in the army. In one of his personal songs, Andrey Grigoryevich described himself as "a flexible man, like an aluminum spoon." He performed personal songs of the Kazym Khanty of the older generation.
