Nayta Kolchevna was born in the village of Varyegan in a camp in the family of reindeer herders. They lived and grew up in the camp, helping their parents. She graduated from the 3rd grade of the Varyogan Boarding School. Currently Nayta Kolchevna lives in the village, she is retired.
Nayta Kolchevna knows a lot of songs, tells stories in the Nenets language.
