Agafya Dmitrievna was born in the village of Varyogan in Nizhnevartovsky District. She studied at the Varyogan School. She began her career with the Okhteurye state industrial complex. Then she managed the Varyogan Ethnographic Park-Museum from 2000 to 2007. Under her leadership in the Variogan Park-Museum, in 2003, the project of internal tourist routes in Nizhnevartovsky District was created, which received the Grant of the First Degree of the Governor of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Yugra. Agafya Dmitrievna presented exhibitions of applied arts of the indigenous peoples of the North in Hungary, Estonia, Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Khanty-Mansiysk. She has the honorary title of «Laureate of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Yugra "For development of culture of the small peoples of the North"». In accordance with the decision of the Duma of Nizhnevartovsky District no. 347 (dated May 27, 2013), Agafya Dmitrievna was awarded the title of "Honorary citizen of Nizhnevartovsky District". She is the performer of songs in the Khanty language.
