Galina Gerasimovna was born in the village of Vanzevat of Beryozovsky District of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug of Tyumen Oblast. She graduated 10 grades at the Polnovat Secondary School. After leaving school, she got a job in the kindergarten. There she worked in various positions: as a stoker, a laundress, a cook, a nanny, a teacher, and even a manager. Then Galina Gerasimovna worked in the library. Later she was the head of the village club. Galina Gerasimovna performs mainly personal songs, legends and fairy tales of the Khanty in the Khanty language.
