Biography

Galina Ivanovna was born in a camp near the lake Mўvәӈ ӆor, located 40 km from the village of Numto of Beryozovsky District, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug of Tyumen Oblast. At that time, her parents were engaged in fishing. They dried fish in the summer and made fishmeal for the animal farm. Galina Ivanovna knows small genres of folklore (riddles, omens, sayings), household tales about animals.
