Biography
Viktor Semyonovich graduated from two-year teacher courses at the Tyumen Pedagogical Institute and one grade of the correspondence department of the Khanty-Mansiysk Pedagogical College. In January 1941, Viktor Semyonovich was approved as a translator by the Okrug Commission for the formation of the Khanty language textbook. He is the Second World War participant. Since 1943, Viktor Semyonovich was a researcher in the village of Numto and in the village of Polnovat. He worked as a translator of the Leningrad Department of the Uchpedgiz. Viktor Semyonovich translated "The Stories about Lenin" by M. Zoshchenko, hints by M. Zaschthe stories by M. Gorky, the book "Fishing and processing of fish in the small waters of the North", the collection " The Heroes of the Civil War" into the Middle dialect of the Khanty language. In the 60s, Viktor Semyonovich was a researcher of the Okrug museum, and later he worked as a responsible secretary of the Okrug Department of the Society for the Protection of Monuments of History and Culture. He went on working trips to Khanty villages to record folklore materials. Viktor Semyonovich was one of the active public guides over the Museum and Khanty-Mansiysk. V. K. Beloborodov
