Albina Lazarevna was born in the Kayukovo settlement, Surgutsky District, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug of Tyumen Oblast. She graduated from the Ugut boarding school. Currently Albina Lazarevna lives in the village of Ugut. She writes and performs songs, fairy tales, and poems herself. The manner of performance and some of the texts of the works were adopted from her father and mother, her paternal grandmother Kayukova Varvara Ivanovna (Kogonchina).
