Biography
Anna Nikolaevna was born in the Yurts of the Kaymasovs located on the river Malyi Yugan in a large Khanty family. During the Great Patriotic War, she studied at school, but after graduating from the 2th grade, she interrupted her study. At the age of 14, Anna Nikolaevna begun to hunt and did all the housework. After starting a family, she began working on a collective farm named after Stalin. Further she was engaged in hunting and fishing. The family lived on the Negus-Yakh River (Sable River). When the couple retired, the family moved to the village of Ugut. She knows a lot of fairy tales and legends and willingly tells them.
