Tasmanov Nikolay Pavlovich was born in the village of Kazym on January 2, 1958. After graduating from the Kazym eight-year school, he entered in Salekhard as a veterinarian. Nikolay worked in the Kazym state farm as a reindeer herder. Now Nikolay Pavlovich is retired. He and his wife live in a camp, herd the reindeer and fish.
