Boris Khallovich was born in the village of Varyegan of Nizhnevartovsky District in the family of a reindeer herder. He worked as a hunter in the industrial farm "Okhteurskiy". Further, he moved with his family to live in a camp. Boris Khallovich tells the stories and ethnographic material in the Nenets language of the Forest Nenets.
