Юхлымова Прасковья Николаевна (15.12.1930 - 2013) <viddejat>performer of Khanty folklore</viddejat> <biography>She was born in Chueli settlement of Beryozovsky District of Ostyako-Vogulsky National Okrug. She graduated from primary school in the village of Polnovat. She was left without parents early (her father was taken to the front, her mother died early). In the mid-1950s, she moved with her family to the village of Mozyamy, then to the village of Polnovat. Before retirement, she worked at the collective farm named after M. V. Frunze at various jobs. She took over her performing skills from the older generation. She was a connoisseur of the little-known genre of Khanty folklore &quot;fairy tales-songs&quot;. Folklore texts recorded from Praskovya Nikolaevna were published in the Okrug national newspaper &quot;Khanty Yasang&quot;, and were broadcast on the Okrug national radio.</biography>

She was born on December 28, 1936 in the village of Yuilsk (now Beryozovsky District of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug). In 1955, she graduated from the Khanty-Mansiysk Pedagogical College, and in 1971 she graduated from the Leningrad State Pedagogical Institute named after A. I. Herzen. In 1956-1965 – a primary school teacher, head of the Boarding school; in 1968-1971 – teacher of the Khanty-Mansiysk Pedagogical College; in 1971-1974 – translator/interpreter, Deputy Editor of the Okrug newspaper &quot;Leninskaya Pravda&quot;; in 1974-1991 – editor of the Okrug newspaper &quot;Lenin Pant Khuvat&quot;; since 1991 – editor- in-chief of the United Editorial Office of the regional newspaper &quot;Khanty Yasang and Luima Seripos&quot;. Лельхова Евдокия Ефремовна (25.02.1936) <viddejat>performer of Khanty folklore</viddejat> <biography>She was born in the village of Pashtory of Beryozovsky District of Ostyako-Vogulsky National Okrug. In the people, the bearers of this surname were called ԓϵԓ hop (lit. a boat with low sides). According to their patron spirit, they are referred to as Pastyr Yokh &apos;Pastyr people&apos;. She graduated from primary school in the village of Polnovat. After school, she worked on the collective farm in various jobs. In the mid-1950s, according to the training program for local people, she was sent to the salesmen&apos;s courses in Khanty-Mansiysk. Then she worked as a salesman in different villages of Polnovat Ob Region. A large place in her song repertoire is occupied by &quot;borrowed&quot; songs, songs of relatives and friends. Folklore works of the artist are included in the folklore collections &quot; Arϵm-mon&apos;shchϵm eԓ ki mănԓ, in the collection &quot;Tales, songs of the Khanty of Polnovat Ob Region&quot;. Folklore texts recorded from Evdokia Efremovna were published in the Okrug national newspaper &quot;Khanty Yasang&quot; and were broadcast on the Okrug national radio.</biography>
